Glide changes

Glide attacks for all characters, except for Shantotto (Livid mode) and Kuja, have been readjusted.

The changes are broken down into 5 ways:

  • A: Able to glide for 10f after magic attack. After that inertia occurs.
  • B: Able to glide for 20f while in the midst of a combo attack and until the moment of the final projectile. After that, inertia occurs.
  • C: Able to glide up to 20f before where it’s possible to guard or dodge cancel. After that inertia occurs.
  • D: Able to glide up to 10f before where it’s possible to guard or dodge cancel while in the midst of a combo and up to 30f before guard or dodge cancelling before the final projectile. After that inertia occurs.

Lightning

  • Beat Down
    + During the period of attack determination, now has the ability to reorientate (2 degrees/frame, can be interrupted with dodge)
    + Has keep value in the initial movement part
    + (midair only) Vertical rush improved by 2.75 degrees

Ramza

  • Double Slash/Cross Slash
    – (second hit) Attack determination windown reduced by 7f
    + (second hit) If the attack hasn’t hit, ending lag reduced by 7f
    – (second hit) When the attack hits, ending lag increased by 4f
    – (second hit) When the attack hits, dash cancel now slower by 4f
  • Energy Shot
    – Dash cancel after shooting now slower (walking, jumping and attack cancel unaffected)
  • Triple Break
    + First hit’s downward adjustment improved by 2.5 degrees
  • Steel
    + The skill gauge begins charging immediately after holding down the button (reducing starting lag by 11f), but total time needed for full gauge +10f
    + Ending lag after releasing the button from having held it down is reduced by 10f
    * If you release the button immediately after pushing it, the ending lag is the same
    * Ending lag is zero only when you have held down the button
  • Shout
    + Ending lag after buff takes effect reduced by 15f
  • Cheer
    + Ending lag after buff takes effect reduced by 20f
